[SLE] SuSE Chameleon Stickers
I'd like to put a word in to the SuSE folks for some 1" square Powered by SuSE Linux chameleon stickers that would fit on the label square on the front of my computer box. I love the stickers that come with SuSE Linux, but none of them are square! Or take someone elses label square and use that for the sticker. I too would like some nice square labels similar to the FreeBSD ones I have, but I'll settle for what I have till some possibly become available for sale on their website <blatent hint SuSE> maybe. jv> Jerry VB jv> jv> jv> jv> -- S.Toms - tomas@primenet.com - www.primenet.com/~tomas SuSE Linux v6.4+ - Kernel 2.2.16 Alas, I am dying beyond my means. -- Oscar Wilde, as he sipped champagne on his deathbed -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

OK, since the door has been opened....I have RedHat bumper stickers, Caldera bumper stickers, Debian bumper stickers, FreeBSD bumper stickers, and yes, even a sort-of Mandrake bumper sticker (MacMillan). When can I display my pride in SuSE? People can't see that little round sticker on the back of my van...it just causes tailgating. You're putting me at risk of being rear-ended! ;-) TRBishop tb64710@ltec.net Registered Linux User #12043 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

They don't exist (yet). But at the last trade show I went to, there was a
booth where they were selling merchandizing stuff and among that were tux
keys for cherry keyboards :) I couldn't use them, as I have a Siemens
keyboard (wouldn't want to miss the power button on the keyboard :).

As I have your divided attention; how about a holographic sticker instead with Tux/Geeko (and "Powered by") depending on the angle viewed? i.e. looking at it walking past, you get a very clear animated message. :-) Droolware? Geekware? Anyware? I must admit that I might have been insprired by the changing colours of the "DVD" on the front of another appliance; but that's nowhere near as interesting. And as others are out there patenting the bleeding obvious, I may as well spoil their game by publishing all the obvious ideas before they register their patents. -- Bernd Felsche - Innovative Reckoning Perth, Western Australia -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
While we're making out a wish list, I'd like to ask SuSE to make available some bumper stickers and maybe t-shirts or baseball caps. Let us help spread the good word!! At 21:12 7/8/00 -0700, you wrote:

You might want to check out the German site. They have tshirts and baseball caps available. Not sure about the U.S. site. But I do like the idea about bumper stickers.. Mike On Sun, 09 Jul 2000, you wrote:

A 1960 tractor with a "Powered By S.u.S.E. Linux" on the highway will probably shock a lot of people. You should see me putting around downtown Straubing on it. Heck, when my car failed TÜV, I junked it and now use "Big Red" for all my driving with my tax-free green tags :). "To hell with the greens!" Later!
