[opensuse] cannot install Kolab
Hi, I already sent postings because of a damaged GNOME installation. Perhaps there is a relation between these problems because in both cases I cannot install certain packages. Today I tried to install Kolab as described in http://en.opensuse.org/Kolab. I prepared the repositories as explained, refreshed the repositories, invoked Yast Software management because it is the first recommended installation method and tried to install the package kolab 2.1.99. YaST demanded to delete php5 and then a series of php5 related packages. At the end, as there was no package offered to delete, YaST stated that it cannot install kolab. Nearly the same happens with 1-Click-Install. 1-Click-Install dosn't install anything but simply invokes YaST software management so that I have to do the same installation procedure as if I invoked the software management directly. Of course, the same problem occurs. It seems that I have to do some rpm repair here. I already made a rpm --rebuilddb but it didn't help. I urgently need a troubleshooting strategy for rpm on openSUSE 10.3. Please help.
