Hello list, Is it at all possible to run Quicktime under SuSE Linux? I am running SuSE v8.0 Pro. I checked Apple.com and there does not appear to be a download for Linux, just Mac/Windoze. Is there an application available for Linux which can handle Quicktime files? Thanks! Jesse

Non-crippled versions of mplayer and xine. They can even handle Sorenson 3 files. Charles -- I did this 'cause Linux gives me a woody. It doesn't generate revenue. (Dave '-ddt->` Taylor, announcing DOOM for Linux)

I can confirm that ;-) I can even play most embedded Quicktime video using my own compiled version of MPlayer.

Cool. Thanks everyone for your feedback. Looks like it's time for me to check out MPlayer. Jesse
