[opensuse] 88w8535 wifi
Hello, I have a wifi (wlan) pci card Netgear 88w8335 opensuse.org and google seems to say that ndiswrapper can make this card work, but on opensuse11 any attempt (Xp then win98 windows module) freezes the network part even ifconfig, when launched, stops without any output (fixed IP setup) - I not even can stop this with kill (I can open an other console) do somebody here could configure such card? thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Jean: Is that a Netgear WG311? What version? I had an issue on a version 5 of the card and got it working using the latest drivers. (This was for a friend's computer so I don't have it handy.) I had trouble with same board. Are you using 32 bit or 64 bit system. I found that there are drivers for each. Third one listed for 64 bit. http://www.skd.de/e_en/support/driver_searchresults.html?navanchor=&term=typ.treiber+produkt.SK-54C1&produkt=produkt.SK-54C1&typ=typ.treiber&system= jdd sur free wrote:
