Does anyone have opinions on the relative merits of the three competing Linux printing subsystems: CUPS, lprng, and Berkeley lpr? (The only argument to be made for Berkeley lpr, I'd guess, is that lprng is buggy -- if it still is.) Paul

Hi. CUPS is the only one that made selection of paper tray, size and such possible for me. lprng has som Z switch to do these things but it was far from intuitive and I could never get it working properly. As for Berkeley lpr I don't think those things are possible at all. Correct me if I'm wrong. /Anders
