Linux has a ping command and ping6 for ipv6. Likewise there's traceroute and traceroute6. One thing I've noticed is that traceroute is smart enough to use ipv6 to an ipv6 only site, but ping isn't. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

traceroute6 is a symlink to to traceroute. ping and ping6 are actually individual binaries. There is also iptables and ip6tables, but they're both symlinks to one binary. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (10.3°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
