Hi,
I saw your request when I was at work and sent myself a note to forward you the xorg.conf from my system at home. That system is a Sony PCG-GRX670 notebook that uses a Radeon 7500. The attached xorg.conf works on that system under SuSE 10.1. During the 10.1 beta I complained about this very issue .. it also does not work in Ubuntu, which also uses the newer xorg. It is in one of the Novell bug reports but I've now lost track of it. The problem apparently lies in the new radeon driver. SuSE made available the older radeon driver for folks (like me) having issues with the new one. So you need to plug in either "radeon10b" or, in some cases, "radeonold" for the "Driver".
Good luck,

With Bruce's kind permission I am sending this out to the list. Changing the driver to the radeon10b and using the xorg.conf I posted worked perfectly. Bruce mentions there is a bug report, I had not seen that I will look for it this weekend and see if it was resolved with a fix or if its still open. So radeon mobility 7500 dual head, fixed with using radeon10b driver. Thanks again Bruce and everyone who sent suggestions.
