Ah there lies the problem: I would love to, but I have no internet acces due to a lack of wifi (and the other ethernet).
bummer! :-(
Well, unless the rpm is included in the dvd, or you can download it using some other method or computer, I can't see how to solve the problem...
You could download it to a USB flash drive to install on the computer. -- Joe Morris Registered Linux user 231871 running openSUSE 10.3 x86_64

I was working off a CD, I thought I'd try the DVD first (usb stick is 16G). Hope that helps
Sounds like you installed from one of the LiveCDs. Did you try downloading the madwifi prebuilt packages and installing them manually using rpm -i? While I have never had the greatest of luck with the madwifi repo working, other people seem to have good luck with it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
