[opensuse] free youtube
Hello ;-) I manage my own personal hosted server and I'm very glad of this, because this nallows me to share some products with a much better quality than public ones. Specially, videos on youtube of facebook are extremely compressed At fisrt, I had mostly pĥotos and I manage them with piwigo (recommended). But I have more and more videos. Fo then I use a piwigo plugin. However this plugin is a bit light. It's pretty difficult with it to scan a video, go back to see again a small part of the clip, or simply see more than around 10 minutes long clip. Do you know of any youtube or daylymotion free clone I could use? using pure html is quite boring. I would really like to have full html5 compatibility, flash makes me sick :-( the web show two: PHPmotion and ClipBucket, however: * I will be the only to upload videos, I can use ftp or fish (preferably) and have no use of the resizing of videos * I will have mostly private videos (for the family), but also some public ones I use openSUSE servers (11.4 for now) thanks jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I've noticed that youtube now uses html5 (presumably only for the right browsers) - looks prety good to me. Can't you borrow some of that? -- Per Jessen, Zürich (12.2°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

how? I know yet very few about html5. What format is html5 video able to read? I will learn, but most of the time the hosting software makes the rules jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

It depends on the browser, but mpeg4 and ogg for instance. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (13.8°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
