[opensuse] Media streaming servers
I would like to have others opinion about the media streaming servers around for Linux / openSuSE. I have audio (mostly MP3s) and video (AVIs) files, stored on a computer which I wand to browse and play from other PCs without needing to download the files. thanks -- Bogdan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I have tested both MediaTomb and TwonkyMedia Server on openSUSE 11.0. MediaTomb works fine, but it won't work with a XBOX 360. With a Playstation 3 it works fine. TwonkyMedia Server works fine with a 360, but it's closed source and it costs about $30 for the license. /J -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
