Number of Kompany utlities failing on SuSE 8.1
Already have tried the Kapital mailing list, but we're waiting for Kompany to recieve 8,1. Thus far with these applications I get: quanta3 /usr/local/quanta/quanta-x11-x86: relocation error: /usr/local/quanta/quanta-x11-x86: undefined symbol: __ti10QTabDialog kapital kapital: relocation error: /opt/kde3/lib/libfmengine.so.0: undefined symbol: newItem__14QPtrCollectionPv All I have tried so far, anyone else having issues? If it's compiled for a previous version of SuSE and it isn't statically linked it's no great surprise that it doesn't work. c++ in gcc 2.95.3 just isn't compatible with c++ in gcc 3.2.

Oh well, just have to wait. Really wanted to try out Quanta 3 and compare it to Home Builder for Linux (which is not native, but a Wine hack). Matt

I tried the Kapital app, but every time I try to import a QIF file it crashes hard. I sent the whole error spit out to theKompany but have gotten 0 responses. Needless to say, I aint buying a crashing app. --- See Ya' Howard Coles Jr. John 3:16!

Is this on SuSE 8.1? If its not then you might want to edit your QIF file so that the top line reads: !Type:Bank Of course, assuming its a bank detail :). The crash I am having is due to GCC 3.2, last I heard they were waiting on a delivery of SuSE 8.1 to get this issue resolved. Matt

Did that, and it is 8.0 and it is still crashing when I try to import a QIF file. --- See Ya' Howard Coles Jr. John 3:16!
