I made a autobackup script which looks principle like that:

day=`date +%a`
dany=`date =%j`

tar -czpf /backup/$day/bin.tar.gz /bin/ >/barckup/$dayn.bin.log

When I call the script by hand it works, except that I do only get an empty log (what do I miss here?)
