I am using SuSE 6.4 and IPChains for my Internet
firewall. I have an AS/400 behind my firewall that I would like to access
over the internet. It seems to me that the simple solution is to establish
port redirection; assign a single port on the firewall to get redirected to the
AS/400. I am not familiar with how this is done. Is this an IPChains
command? I couldn't seem to find port forwarding in the IPChains
documentation.
Is this the generally accepted solution for this
situation? Would it be better to login to the firewall and establish a
5250 connection from there?
