Hallo,

 

I'm looking for a working configuration smb.conf file. Every time I try to connect to a Linux samba dir via  windows xp I get the following message "Domain=[linux] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 2.2.7a-SuSE], tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME"

 

what am I or windows doin wrong?

 

Here is my smb.conf file.

 

[global]
        netbios name = computer_xp
        workgroup = windows
        log level = 2

[pub]
        path = /home/export/download
        browseable = yes
        guest ok = yes
        read only = no

 

 

 

 

       Domain=[LAV] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 2.2.7a-SuSE]
