Linux] PPP Config through YAST Date: Tue, 30 Jun 1998 17:56:38 -0400 Message-ID: <35995F15.61AB4155@ibm.net> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="===============5596334755302119677==" --===============5596334755302119677== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I am using YAST to configure the Network and PPP. In PPP, I fill out all the information about the connectivity, ISP, nameservers.....and on. After I exit YAST, when I look at /etc/ppp and /etc/suseppp, my userid/password is in /etc/suseppp. Assuming this will work, I tried /etc/suseppp/ppp-up, and it did not work. I even tried to use /etc/ppp/ip-up. I have some of my old working Slackware /etc/ppp scripts. If I copy them over, will it disturb the integrity of the configuration file i.e. rc.config. I am new to SuSE. The manual only talks about YAST configuration. Any pointers appreciated. Thank you.
