Well, to-day I can't make an on-line update anymore. The error is something like "error checking patch signature" (I receive such = a=20 message in Italian so I don't know if the translation is correct). Any idea? emilio --===============1837239274724292492==-- From leen.meyer@home.nl Thu Mar 10 23:37:05 2005 From: Leendert Meyer To: users@lists.opensuse.org Subject: Re: [SLE] Really, I don't know Date: Fri, 11 Mar 2005 00:36:57 +0100 Message-ID: <200503110036.57291.leen.meyer@home.nl> In-Reply-To: <200503102052.35624.contiemilio@virgilio.it> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="===============1013908647906839820==" --===============1013908647906839820== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit On Thursday 10 March 2005 20:52, contiemilio(a)virgilio.it wrote: > yesterday I modified the security level on my SuSE 9.1 from secure to easy. > Well, to-day I can't make an on-line update anymore. Do as root in text mode (either in a terminal window or on a virtual terminal): export LANG="en_US.UTF-8" yast IIAC, yast will show up in English instead of Italian. Now try again to do an online update. If you get an error message, it should be in English. Please post this exact English error message and we'll see if it does ring a bell at someone. Makes me wonder what mirror you use for YOU? Maybe the mirror is not up to date, or misses something. Try ftp.suse.com or ftp.gwdg.de. Cheers, Leen --===============1898317154363821736==--
