-Me han contestado: You have setup hotwayd to play nice with your mail client and fetch your mail, but you haven't added it to the default run-level. Go to the terminal as root and type: rc-update add xinetd default This should load the daemon(s) at boottime. Y me contestan: Sorry about that, sometimes I think the whole world is running Gentoo. My google'ing has lead me to believe that SuSE uses the file /etc/rc.d/rc.local to load programs (daemons, scripts) at boot. I would reccomend putting the whole path to xinetd as a line in that file. Example: /usr/sbin/xinetd or /usr/local/sbin/xinetd or /etc/init.d/xinetd I'm sure you know where it is, but I'm not all that familiar with SuSE, so I really don't know. Just make sure you don't alter any of the other lines in /etc/rc.d/rc.local, or you might cause yourself some problems. If you see anything in there that you think you don't want running at boot (ex. any other daemons or services), just comment them out by placing a "#" in front of them. That way remedying any complications will be a snap.

O bien, usando chkconfig. O bien, yendo a configuración de red, usar inetd o xinetd - esta tercera opción es la correcta en este caso: x x Network Services ->xx NIS+ client x x x x Security and Users xx LDAP client x x x x System xx DNS and Host Name x x x x Misc xx Host Names x x x x Quit xx Proxy x x x x-----------------------x Network Services (inetd) x x Ahí te pregunta si quieres poner inetd o xinetd. Entras y lo activas y configuras. -- Saludos Carlos Robinson
