Apache2 + php4 unter SuSE 9.1 laeuft nicht mehr
Hallo, ich habe ein SuSE 9.1 und apache2 und fast alle php4 module installiert (laut SDB soll man php4_recode erstmal weglassen). Leider hat aber mein Apache2 kein PHP4 Support. Wenn ich versuche eine PHP-Seite aufzurufen, dann bietet der Apache mir die Seite direkt zum Download an ohne sie per PHP4-Modul auszuführen. Die Einstellungen in /etc/sysconfig/apache2 sind korrekt. ABER.... wenn ich SuSEconfig aufrufe kommt folgende Fehlermeldung: Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.apache2... Looking for multi-processing modules (MPM)... 2 MPM installed (prefork worker) APACHE_MPM is set to "worker" create symbolic link `/usr/sbin/httpd2' to `/usr/sbin/httpd2-worker' create symbolic link `/usr/share/apache2/build/config_vars.mk' to `config_vars.mk-worker' Module "php4" is not installed, ignoring. Laut Yast" ist aber alles korrekt installiert. Hat jemand eine Idee? Danke und viele Grüße Falko

Mein apache2 hat php support allerdings noch immer ohne mail() Funktion und ich werde mich wohl jetzt daran machen müssen, das Problem selber zu beheben und nicht auf ein you-Update zu warten.

Das php4 Modul funktioniert AFAIK im Moment nur mit der prefork MPM. (zumindest das von suse bereitgestellte). Also entweder auf die prefork MPM wechseln oder versuchen PHP selber zu compilieren. Alexander Feigl

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Da muss jemand /etc/sysconfig/apache2 editiert haben. ;) (Es gibt kein mod_php4 fuer das worker MPM, nuer fuer prefork, Wegen http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/developer/thread_safety.html) Peter
