Hallo Leute. Gestern habe ich eine SuSE 8.2 neu installiert, und möchte darauf leafnode laufen lassen. Leafnode ist installiert: linux:~ # whereis leafnode leafnode: /usr/sbin/leafnode /etc/leafnode /usr/share/man/man8/leafnode.8.gz In der inetd.conf ist news aktiviert: linux:~ # cat /etc/inetd.conf | grep news nntp stream tcp nowait news /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/leafnode xinetd läuft: linux:~ # rcxinetd status Checking for service xinetd: running Was könnte der Grund dafür sein, daß leafnode nicht auf Anfragen reagiert? linux:~ # telnet localhost nntp Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused linux:~ # telnet localhost news Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused -- Mails an diese Adresse werden in /dev/null archiviert! Für xinetd ist die Konfigurationdatei xinetd.conf für Zuständig. Du musst also leafnode in der xinetd.conf eintragen. Hm, da hatte ich schon reingeschaut, aber da kann man nix eintragen. Hab jetzt allerdings nochmal reingeschaut, gesehen, daß /etc/xinet.d included wird, und dort dann... hätt ich auch gleich sehen können. Egal, jetzt gehts. Verwendet der _x_inetd denn die /etc/inetd.conf?
Was könnte der Grund dafür sein, daß leafnode nicht auf Anfragen reagiert?
