Wie bekomme ich eine PPP-Verbindungsstatistik zusammen?
Hallo zusammen, Subject says it all: ich möchte über /etc/ppp/ip-up.local und /etc/ppp/ip-down.local eine Verbindungsstatistik erzeugen. Die Zeiten sind klarerweise kein Problem, nur wie komme ich z.B. die Anzahl der übertragenen Bytes heran? Hardy PS: das alles unter 2.2.14 -- Visit the VSoup homepage at http://home.pages.de/~vsoup/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: suse-linux-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands, e-mail: suse-linux-help@suse.com

Das kommt drauf an:
- Wenn du den ipppd benutzt, loggt isdnlog die Daten und du kannst sie
mit isdnrep abfragen...
- Benutzt du den pppd, dann (aus "man pppd"):
For the ip-down and auth-down scripts, pppd also sets the
following variables giving statistics for the connection:
CONNECT_TIME
The number of seconds from when the PPP negotiation
started until the connection was terminated.
BYTES_SENT
The number of bytes sent (at the level of the
serial port) during the connection.
BYTES_RCVD
The number of bytes received (at the level of the
serial port) during the connection.
LINKNAME
The logical name of the link, set with the linkname
option.
