In /dev/sda6 sind nach einer Untersuchung aber nur ca 28,84GB belegt.

Aus welchem Repo stammt der Update? Bitte einen Bugzilla-Report aufmachen und pth@novell.com zuordnen. Ich kümmere mich dann im neuen Jahr, wenn ich aus dem Urlaub zurück bin, darum. Aus http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.3/11.3/rpm/x86_64/coreutils -7.1-11.1.1.x86_64.rpm Habe noch mal 7.1-10.1 installiert, aber das gleiche Problem. Bin wieder auf 7.1-11.1.1 gegangen. Ich bin mir aber ziemlich sicher, dass der Fehler erst seit dem Update vom 21.12.10 besteht. Mein letztes update dafor war am 15.11.10. Dazwischen ist kein udate gelaufen, so dass ca 7.1GB installation zustande kamen. Ich bin mir auch sicher, dass ich Abhängigkeiten mit yast2 richtig aufgelöst. habe. Ich weiss auch, dass etliche Basis-Pakete erneuert wurden.

hast Du bei der ntp-Einrichtung über yast die Einstellung "NTP-Daemon im chroot-Jail ausführen" aktiviert? Dann nimmt das Häkchen wieder weg.
