Hallo Liste, neuerding hängt sich mein Computer einfach auf, nichts funktioniert mehr. KDE friert komplett ein und auf Tastenkombinationen reagiert er auch nicht mehr. Nur noch der Reset Button hilft. Hardware Probleme kann ich ausschließen, da mein Windows XP ohne Probleme läuft. Das einzige, was ich neu eingebaut habe ist eine Realtek Netzwerkkarte, dass diese Probleme macht, kann ich mir aber nicht vorstellen. Mein System: AMD Athlon 3000 64 Suse Linux 10.1 KDE 3.5.1 Hat jemand die gleichen Probleme und kann helfen? Das ist nicht gut. Richte Dir SysRQ [1] ein, dann kannst Du den Rechner auf jeden FAll noch kontrolliert herunterfahren und hast dann die Möglichkeit in den Logfiles Ursachenforschung zu betreiben.

Das ist ein weit verbreiteter Irrtum... Ich will das mal mit einem unzuverlässigen Auto vergleichen: Windows ist ein sehr moderater Fahrer, der die Karre immer im unteren Drehzahlbereich fährt und keine Leistung abverlangt. Linux dagegen zieht die Gänge bis zur Nenndrehzahl - der alte Motor macht schlapp. Na ja, das hinkt vielleicht ein bisschen...
