Hallo Liste,
seit ich meinen Schleppi per apt-get auf KDE 3.4 beta (auf SuSE 9.2)
upgedatet habe, hat er folgendes seltsames Problem: Wenn der
Standard-Runlevel 5 ist, also gleich nach dem Booten X gestartet wird,
habe ich keine Tastatur! Ich kann nichts eingeben, Caps-Lock-Leuchte
geht nicht, auch der X-Affengriff (Strg-Alt-BkSp) funktioniert also
nicht.
Ich also vom anderen Rechner per SSH drauf, Runlevel 3 als Standard
angegeben und den Schleppi neu gebootet. Wenn der jetzt gebootet hat,
und ich mich auf der Konsole angemeldet habe und dann von Hand in
Runlevel 5 wechsele, geht alles. Was ist das?
Hier angehängt ein Mitschnitt von /var/log/messages vom Booten bis zum
einloggen per SSH, um "von aussen" in den Runlevel 3 zu wechseln. Ich
kann da nix sehen, was mir das Keyboard wegnehmen könnte. Und es müsste
ja irgendwas mit KDE zu tun haben, denn vor dem Update gings noch.

Mal eine ganz blöde Idee: laß Dir mal die Gruppen ausgeben, denen root angehört, wenn der Rechner gebootet wird, und wenn Du init 5 von Hand ausführst. Vielleicht gehört eine Datei einer anderen Gruppe und kann deshalb nicht gelesen werden (vielleicht mal die Lesbarkeit für alle ein wenig eingeschränkt?). Offenbar ist die Konfigurationsdatei nicht in Ordnung, bzw. deren Format hat sich für 3.4 geändert. Habe das gerade probiert -> keine Änderung. Auch die Fehlermeldungen in /var/log/messages waren noch da. Dann habe ich die betreffenden Zeilen aus der Konfigdatei auskommentiert -> jetzt zwar keine Felermeldungen mehr, aber auch immer noch keine Tastatur. mfG, Jens PS: Die Links aus Deiner letzten Mail muss ich mir erst noch reinziehen.

Es ist ein Timing-Problem, für das man einen Rechner mit der richtigen Geschwindigkeit und der richtigen Software in der passenden Version braucht, um es zu erleben ;). Viele Grüße Ralf
