Hallo, ich möchte von meiner SSD booten. Doch das geht nicht. Es sieht so aus, als würde Sie von GRUB2 gar nicht erkannt. Mit YAST habe ich die SSD in 2 Partitionen aufgeteilt. Eine mit FAT fuer WINDOWS,eine mit ext4 für SUSE 12.3 formatiert plus ca. 10% unformatiert. Zur Hardware ist noch zu sagen: LAPTOP mit SUSE 64bit, kernel 3.7.10-1.16-desktop daran Adapter Expresscard für Notebook (2 Ports) USB 3.0 daran Transcend ESD200 externe SSD-Festplatte 128GB USB 3.0 Mit der SUSE DVD konnte ich ein System auf der SSD installieren. Beim starten sagt mir GRUB, dass die Platte nicht existiert. Muss ich da irgenwas mit device map aendern oder die SSD Partition bootfähig wie einen USB Stick machen? Was kann ich noch probieren?
