Hallo, Liste Ich habe ein kleines Sound-Problem: Ich habe meinen Kernel mit Sound-Unterstützung als Modul kompiliert (2.2.13) Meine Soundkarte ist eine ESS1686 und die hat mit SuSE6.2 prima funktioniert. Wenn ich jetzt die modprobe bzw. insmod-Befehle an der Konsole eingebe, dann funktioniert der Sound und /dev/sndstat sieht folgendermaßen aus :

Was mache ich da falsch ???
Das problem steht soch schon da. Er sucht nach char-major-15 (das ist der joystick) und das ist (schätze ich mal) in deiner /etc/modules.conf weder auf off gestellt, noch einem Modul zugewiesen. Ich kenne die Soundkarte nicht, aber stelle die 3 Einträge doch auf off, wenn dich diese Fehlermeldungen stören. Vergiß das "depmod -a" nicht. Du solltest vielleicht den Mixer aufrufen und die Lautstärke einstellen, daran liegt es oft, wenn man nichts hört. Wenn nicht prüf doch mit ps nach, ob kaudioserver letztendlich läuft. Hast du irgendein Joystickmodul für KDE installiert.
