No local APIC present or hardware disabled <------ ???????????? Wieso zeigt er es in der RAM map an und anschliessend meint er das APCI disabled ist. Im BIOS ist ACPI aber enabled. Unter Win2k lief ACPI problemlos. Was muss ich bei der Kernelkonfiguration beachten ? APIC = Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller ACPI = Advanced Configuration and Powermanagment Interface (AFAIK)
ACPI ist leider/gottseidank im Kernel noch nicht "so richtig" implementiert. Wenn du Festplatten, CPU oder sonstiges idle machen willst, nimmst du besser APM (Advanced Powermanagment). Ansonsten: APIC(!) würde ich auf jeden Fall anschalten (Unter "Processor type and features"). ACPI(!) findest du unter "General setup". Viel Spaß dabei... Rene
