Login vsftp als lokal user
Hallo Ich bin immer noch am rätseln, wie ich mich unter Leap 42.3 an einem lokalen ftp Server als lokaler Benutzer anmelde. Dies war unter 42.2 noch ohne Probleme möglich, unter 42.3 wird mir ein 530 Login incorrect angezeigt. michael 331 Please specify the password. Du solltest mal deine Konf hier zeigen wer soll denn so helfen. Btw. sichere die Konf, deinstalliere vsftp und installiere es neu. Bei der Standardinstallation von 42.3 geht es out of the box, grad getestet. Die Probleme kommen vllt. durch eine verquere alte Konf deininstallieren konf manuell löschen wenn nötig, vorher nat. sichern vsftp neu installieren mit default konf lg max

nein, im Gegenteil. Wer da drin ist, kann in alle Verzeichnisse, für die _nicht_ drinstehenden ist /home/<user> die Wurzel, die kommen da nicht raus.

Hi, denke ich eigentlich nicht. Aber hast Du eine Negativliste /etc/ftpusers (Name ist etwas irreführend, steht in /etc/pam.d/vsftpd mit "required" und "sense=deny", d.h. die musst Du wohl haben. denke ich eigentlich nicht. Aber hast Du eine Negativliste /etc/ftpusers (Name ist etwas irreführend, steht in /etc/pam.d/vsftpd mit "required" und "sense=deny", d.h. die musst Du wohl haben. Kam bei mir allerdings bei der Installation mit (wie auch /etc/pam.d/vsftpd) und ist belegt mit den Systemaccounts aller Art (root, postgres,... ), also Accounts, die sicher FTP nicht nutzen sollten...

Ich denk auch das es daran liegt, hab die Konf grad hier auf 42.3 getestet, geht. Vermutlich sind es schon Alt-User mit UID<1000 und beim Upgrade in die /etc/ftpusers geflogen, was anderes kann ich mir nicht mehr vorstellen
Danke für Eure Gedanken, aber in der /etc/ftpusers steht kein lokaler Benutzer drin
Was haben denn die User für eine Shell? ggf mal in der common-auth den Parameter audit setzen und im Logfile schauen was passiert
