Hylafax will nicht...
Hi Liste, ich betreibe Hylafax mit nem Modem. Das Modem - soviel kann ich gleich sagen - funktioniert einwandfrei! Ich habe nach der Install. von Hylafax faxsetup aufgerufen und alles passend eingetragen. Soweit so gut! Sobald ich aber ein Fax erfolgreich versendet habe bekomme ich diese Meldung mit faxstat geliefert: HylaFAX scheduler on www.apoptose.dynaccess.de: Running Modem modem (+49 7071 689080): Waiting for modem to come ready und Hylafax geht nicht mehr auf Empfang. Auch das Versenden eines weiteren Fax ist nicht möglich! Ich habe schon die ttySx getauscht, Modems getauscht... ich bin am Ende! Hat jemand ne Idee? Hat jemand ne Idee? Die Doku, besonders der Link hier (1), hilft Dir weiter, das Problem zu verstehen. Kurz: faxgetty muss durch den inittab gestartet werden und auf das konfigurierte Modem zeigen.

Zwei Ideen. 1. Ist faxgetty in /etc/inittab aktiviert? 2. Welches Modem ist das? Wenn das Modem Faxclass 1 fähig ist, solltest du versuchen ,dies in Class 1 zu betreiben. Der Hintergrund ist, daß Class 1 ein offner Standard ist und mit Serversoftware betrieben werden kann, Class 2 ist nie als verbindlicher Standard verabschieded worden, daher haben die Hersteller Interpretationsräume für die Umsetzung, die aber nicht offengelegt werden. -Dieter -- Dieter Klünter | Systemberatung http://www.dkluenter.de GPG Key ID:8C183C8622115328
