This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 103 error_code 8 request_code 144 minor_code 3) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) in /var /log/messages steht beim Starten: May 26 13:54:12 bart gconfd (thomas-20567): starting (version 2.6.1), pid 20567 user 'thomas' May 26 13:54:12 bart gconfd (thomas-20567): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory" to a read-only config source at position 0 May 26 13:54:12 bart gconfd (thomas-20567): Resolved address "xml:readwrite:/home/thomas/.gconf" to a writable config source at position 1 May 26 13:54:12 bart gconfd (thomas-20567): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults" to a read-only config source at position 2 May 26 13:54:42 bart gconfd (thomas-20567): GConf server is not in use, shutting down. Hi! Gruss, Rainer On Thursday 26 May 2005 14:03, Thomas Wedehase wrote:

Eine Aktivierung per default wäre also unschön... [Ratti in suse-linux]
