Kmail + KEdit Problem nach YOU (Suse8.0)
Hallo Liste, nach einem Onlineupdate das ich gestern durchgeführt habe, stürzt Kmail reproduzierbar ab. Das Problem ist: Versuche ich eine Mail aus dem Suse-linux mail-ordner zu löschen gibts einen Signal 11 (Crashmanagermeldung siehe unten). In anderen Mail-ordnern kann ich löschen!!! Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte? Ich hatte mir per ftp vor ein paar Tagen das KDE3.0.4 update von ftp.gwdg.de geholt und manuell per rpm installiert. Beim gestrigen Onlineupdate wurde vorgeschlagen, irgendwas von KDE304 zu installieren (dummerweise -wie das immer so ist- habe ich da nicht drauf geachtet, weil das update ein ganz anderes Problem lösen sollte) - ich habe YOU also irgendwas von KDE installieren lassen. Heute starte ich Kmail neu und habe plötzlich abgerundete Buttons und Bildlaufleisten + transparente Menüs (nach etwas suchen habe ich bei KDE Kontrollzentrum -> Erscheinungsbild -> Stil den Eintrag "Liquid Mosfet's" gefunden und ausgeschaltet). Wie ich gerade feststelle, stürzt KEdit sofort beim Start auch mit Signal11 ab. Bin ich der einzige mit diesem Problem? Hallo Liste, zwei Leute außer mir haben das gleiche Problem, aber leider nicht an die Liste replayed. Es scheint mir hier also ein Problem mit den Suse KDE304 Paketen zu geben. Liest jemand von Suse mit und kennt das Problem? Ich habe die Suse8.0-KDE304 Pakete vom gwdg.de ftp Server (vom 10.Oktober mit denen mein Kmail funktionierte) über die YOU KDE304 Installation (vom 25.Oktober) ge--forced - ohne Erfolg beim Kmail Problem. Wenigstens ist jetzt der KDE Stil "64000 Farben Standard" wieder verfügbar. Zum Kmail Problem schrieb mir Swen Habenberger: Das selbe Problem hatte ich auch. Ich habe einfach mal die Mailbox im Mozilla geöffnet und anschliessend wieder in Kmail geöffnet, und siehe da es ging alles wieder. Keine Ahnung warum genau. Das Versuche ich jetzt gleich mal. Ich habe das selbe Problem gehabt. Habe es dadurch wieder korrigiert, dass ich mein Mail-backup vom Vortag eingespielt habe. Danach funktionierte es wieder. Michael
Danke für Eure Tips, bei mir half es von dem betroffenen Mail-folder (Suse linux) die Dateien .Suse linux.index .Suse linux.index.ids .Suse linux.index.sorted zu löschen. Kmail hat sich die Fiels wieder neu angelegt - ich kann endlich wieder Eure Beiträge löschen ;-) Was hat Suse da bloß gemacht??? (mit dem KDE304 Suse8.0 Update) Kmail bockt, KDE Stile verschwinden ... ich hoffe es kommen nicht noch mehr böse Überraschungen Gruß Michael Am Sonntag, 27.
