In zypper.nb.po, the commit command returns syntax errors in two strings, as does indeed kbabel, complaining that msgid and msgtr do not both end with \n.

However, as far as I can see, they both end with \n. I have even copied

to target as an experiment, without solving the problem.

I have a feeling that I'm missing something obvious here, just wantet to check if there are problems with this file in other languages.

You may get a better idea when you use the line command 'msgfmt -c <po-file>'. It gives the line number of the error and with vi and that <line number>G you can go to that line. That file has plural forms, watch it. Other possibility is an space after the cr. To tell you what the error is, I'd have to see the file. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
