Maybe a month later, a remastering of the dvd could be done correcting all the last minute problems found or still to be found. You know, the real testing will come now, regardless of beta phases :-p

There have to be more significant problems in order to justify that decision; so we have to wait first to see if there are non discovered, important, bugs waiting out there. But, from the users point of view, a remastering a month later for the "perfect release" would be nice. I'm not advocating it, I'm just dreaming aloud ;-) Would you reinstall?

Because Karl is in his well deserved vacation? And no, we don't change the FTP repo unless we're forced to do so by legal or heavy security concerns. Especially as FTP installations are done by experts, that usually are not _so_ interested in slideshows, I don't think it's necessary either. Right, but it's the only thing what can be done.

A fixed package is now available to be build; see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=400581 . The bug was caused by my terribly broken package submission strategy; I forgot to check in Makefile.am and, additionally, I continued to work in the trunk.
