These Russian files are probably not that affected, because they are completely translated in trunk :-) BTW, it is worth checking SLE translations from time to time again, because we (Novell) often base translation updates on community translations resp. take them as input. Setting them just to would not help that much for what we (SUSE) want to achieve.

And those you are interested in (es): snapper one single string non translated zypp it is not in the yast directory, but it is 98% done. zypper 90% done. You could delay the merge from SLES till that date, and leave us time to work.

I now propose to do the following (for snapper, zypp, and zypper only):

1/ I'll not touch translated strings.

2/ I'll flag strings added from the SLE12 branch with a special comment:

#. SLE12

This way it should be easy for you to locate the imports.

I'll treat all languages the same.

You can do that 30 Oct 2014. If you do it now, the "go to next not ready string" in lokalize would not work, and you would also overwrite our previous fuzzy string if they existed. Forcing the SLES translations on us makes me feel my work is not wanted/appreciated. Yeah, but this time I'm concerned about SLE 12, and the "problem" is that we are packaging snapper/libstorage translations for SLE 12 from trunk (AKA from openSUSE:Factory). From one POV that's rather unfortunate, but that's the way it is.

I have a headache. I've been to the dentist this afternoon, and the anaesthetic hasn't cleared yet fully. So I'm a bit foggy and can't understand this well. I will have a read at the bugzilla later - huh, no, I guess I will not, it is not public, I'm denied access. Sigh :-/ So you mean that if we change the translations to those files in the openSUSE trunk, then the SLES people will have to put up with them, and conversely, if they do change it, we have to put up with their version? And yes, after closer checking only libstorage (and snapper) seem to be affected. I'll not touch zypp and zypper.

These updates were based on previously existing community transaltions (Factory / 13.1). If you do not veto, I'd like to copy and merge the SLE 12 updates back to the trunk. If you veto, I'd like to ask you to do this merge yourself.

Done, for libstorage and snapper only. I did not touch existing translations and all new message strings taken from the SLE12 branch are tagged with "# SLE12". If wanted, I can add a "#, fuzzy" marker later.

That's a good hint. For SLE 12 (SP1) I'll try to remember to update the unsupported languages (yast) with the 13.x community translations. The unsupported languages (yast) are currently on the 13.1 level.
