Kudos to OpenSUSE 15.5
Happy Holidays, When major upheaval come along with an OS upgrade, I've learned from many years of experience that waiting is the safest bet. What I'm typing about in this case is the switch from bios to uefi. I put it off, and put it off...and in the process put off learning all about UEFI (its "documentation" isn't documentation, it is a reference for people who already know all about UEFI--rant over). I purchased one of the small (12cm W X 4cm H X 11cm D), downloaded the latest LEAP to a DVD, Hooked up an external DVD drive...took several deep breaths (had my old system ready to look thing up, when needed) and started the install. Many KUDOS to the SUSE team for crafting an extremely smooth install. When it "sniffed out" what the setup was, it took over, and flew like a "bat out of hell". No issues with the install. Very smooth and well done. CONGRATS!!! to the many people who brought this about. Mark -- All the world's a stage, and I got the cheap seats.
