How can I keep a log of users accessing the system. I would like to keep a log of specific users and the times and possibly the commands that they might access during a logon. Please let me know if ou have any ideas. Mikey

You may want to have a look at the BSD-style process accounting. If you are running one of the SuSE kernels you should have to install the acct package and set /etc/rc.config:START_ACCT=yes. Logging is done to /var/account/pacct by default. -- -ckm
