Re: [suse-security] Probblem compiling bind 8.2.5
Thank you, this command turns up libflowchart, libfltk and several more - none of them looking promising to me. A search in "Paketauskunft" didn't reveal any helpful information (at least for the blinded me) too. Is there a possibiltiy asking the rpm-Database? On my computer the command: rpm -q --whatprovides libfl (even including the .so) failed, but maybe that's due to the fact, that it's simply not installed on my maschine... I looked for the file - it's not there. I suppose, it's in one of the developer-packages, but which one? I cannot install a comlete developer system since the HDD has just 1.2 GBytes ;-)
zgrep libfl /cdrom/ARCHIVES.gz

Right - the RPM database contains only info on *installed* packages. You might try a search in ARCHIVE.gz on the first CD: --------------- Here comes contents of all files: ------------------- ----- *.rpm *.tar.gz *.tar.Z *.tgz *.taz *.tar.z *.tar *.deb ------ ------------------ found in any subdirectory ------------------------ Bye, Martin
