Does anyone know how to config route tables for dynamic routing. I would like to set 2 default gateways and if nobmer 1 is unavalible, system would use second one. Thanx, Tic Pavlin Neosystems Slovenia
Using iproute2 you can configure this. There is a howto on this and even using iproute2 to manage bandwidth etc. However I am not so sure but you may need a 2.4 kernel. However you could run a routing daemon on your linux box but you have to coordinate with your upstreams such that you speak a protocol such as ospf or BGP to their routers in order to update your routes.
