Hello All, I installed SuSE 7.2 (Kernel 2.4.4) and then I compiled the kernel to use iptables. But the new Kernel configuration is different from SuSE standard configuration and I am having a lot of problems. Perhaps can someone tell me where can I find the Kernel 2.4.4 SuSE standard configuration to set iptables in this configuration. Regards, Herbert

How about zcat /proc/config.gz > /usr/src/linux/.config This would save the configuration of your currently running kernel to /usr/src/linux/.config

"make cloneconfig" would exactly do that in a single step.
