Hi List I put some stuff to harden a box in a script to startup at boot-time so i did ln -fs /etc/init.d/hardenbox /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S99hardenbox but everytime box cames up the script order is changed automagically to /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S01hardenbox so why. I do not use yast ! Michael

man insserv man init.d (SuSE Boot Concept) ps there was a discussion on this topic on suse-linux-e list lately you may have look. And IMHO this is not security related -- Togan Muftuoglu
