Hello All, I have a question about mounting two partitions under 1 filesystem. I know that mount -t ext2 /dev/hda1 /;mount -t ext2 /dev/hdb1 / <-- will not work, and I don't know what will. I really need help, and I can't find any documents anywhere, and nobody else seems to be able to tell me. The chat's never give an answer either. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You. You want to combine both partitions to one? Try this with Logical Volume Manager (LVM) or Multiple Device (MD). There are good Howtos at http://www.linuxdoc.org Stephan Christiany spring infotainment GmbH & Co. You must either give a mount point like mount -t ext2 /dev/hdb1 /mnt or put an entry in /etc/fstab hth Markus Gaugusch -- _____________________________ /"\ Markus Gaugusch ICQ 11374583 \ / ASCII Ribbon Campaign markus@gaugusch.dhs.org X Against HTML Mail / \
