CVS Problem: ADD failes after last System update
After the last System update (YOU) CVS runs, but ist no longer possible to add files to a repository. The other commands work fine. Edit, Commit, Checkout etc. no Problem. We work with eclipse and IntelliJ Idea. Before the update anything worked fine. Could i have forgotten to start a specific service? Any Suggestions? Any help ? Any reference ? Thanks to all in advance Martin Meister

Oh, this explains some problems we had with CVS at http://suse-linux-faq.koehntopp.de ;-) As a temporary workaround, use cvsdo add filename from the cvsutils package [1] to add files to the repositionary - or add them to CVS/Entries manually ;-) BTW: To add a file to cvs, no server connection is needed. cvs add just adds a line to CVS/Entries. cvsdo add $file does the same, but without the unneccessary server connection. [Kristian Köhntopp in suse-linux-faq]
