Hello everybody, after adding a new isdn dialup provider on my router with yast I have to "rcSuSEfirewall2 restart" after dialling up to get the routing working. Outgoing routing is not affected, restarting must be done after dialling - but only once (not again after hanging up and going online again) example, fetching mail from behind router before restarting: SuSE-FW-ILLEGAL-ROUTING IN=ippp1 OUT=eth0 SRC=213.165.64.20 DST=192.168.1.2 LEN=40 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=55 ID=428 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=995 DPT=1054 WINDOW=17520 RES=0x00 ACK RST URGP=0 after restarting: SuSE-FW-ACCEPT-MASQ IN=ippp1 OUT=eth0 SRC=213.165.64.20 DST=192.168.1.2 LEN=858 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=55 ID=43843 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=995 DPT=1057 WINDOW=17520 RES=0x00 ACK PSH URGP=0 OPT (0101080A00159BB60010E5D8) Could somebody gimme a hint please... Thanks a lot, Joe

Check /etc/ppp/ip-up. This is responsible to reset the firewall after a dialup. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM. I say, by the grace of God, I am what I am.
