[opensuse-security] discontinuation of SuSE 10.2 ?
Has a date been fixed for the discontinuation of security support for SuSE 10.2? My guess from previous precedent is roughly Jan 2009, but a more authoritative statement would be welcome (as a would a roadmap on the SuSE web site). My normal policy of upgrading to the latest SuSE release every summer has collapsed this year because there are simply too many showstopper bugs in SuSE 11.0 for my environment (e.g. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=157078 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=387202 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=399966 ) Many thanks, Bob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-security+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-security+help@opensuse.org

http://en.opensuse.org/SUSE_Linux_Lifetime says November 30th 2008 for openSUSE 10.2. Regards, Christian Boltz --
[>T. Braun und S. Posner]

openSuSE 10.3 is solid and stable. Can you move to that instead of 11.0?

... Same thing for SuSE 10.3 -- my situation is very similar except for rev level and personal upgrade cycle..
