Hi, I use QMail instead of sendmail, but YaST still tells me to install sendmail or postfix. How can I manipulate the rpm DB to tell YaST-1 (and apt-get) that sendmail is installed? Thanx Thorsten --

install sendmail, follow the "REMOVE.sendmail" file in the source directory, and everything will work fine. HTH mike

important are the symbolic links that redirects sendmail to
/var/qmail/bin/sendmail.
Follow the instructions of Life with qmail
(http://www.lifewithqmail.org/lwq.html)
and you get the right way.
