Re: [suse-security] Hide/Change MTA Mailheader
Hello, at first thanks for the helpful hints. secend: of course, i had looked for information into some places in the internet, but i had not found something that i understand, because i never make config statemants in the sendmail.cf before. when searching in a machine like google, the first think you need are keywords, without an iddea of keywords you cant search... bjoern ramann ___________________________________________________________________________ __ Hi, Leaving aside the spat for a minute - I must say I have found Google, etc, very useful and always look there first before coming here. Having said that I also realise that sometimes it doesn't produce the desired result simply due to the fact that people differ in their search text entry choices. Personally I wouldn't necessarily assume people hadn't looked there first. Andy

Wow! Your a rude bastard. No, simply accurate and direct. Although one could consider calling someone a "bastard" as rude.
We have no problem answering simple questions and do not think there is such a thing as a stupid question; only lazy people. The question just could have been "I tried this and only got that", or "where actually is this generated". If someone wants to have his system done for him, he can just hire someone. Lets hope the nature of lists like these remain a bit more elevated and stimulating than that.

High, this is a realy long thread, so I will add my stuff too. If you want to hide your MTA, do it. Talk with your provider to relay your email and ask him to close direct connection to port 25. And you must change your MX-Record.
