Dear LIST! I have SuSE 7.1 with apache installed, and i desired to add there mod_ssl (package taken from FTP distribution). mhhhh sounds like you didn't install a certificate ....
how about using the openssl suite for creating your own cert, signin' it and then try again to fire up your apache :)
