RE: [suse-security] OpenWall kernel 2.2.16 patch example
Hi thanks for the help, but there 3 diff files in the latest patch.
(linux-2.2.16-ow1.tar.gz)
1. linux-2.2.16-ow1.diff
2. procps-2.0.6-ow1.diff
3. glibc-2.1.3-dl-open.diff
Do you have to apply to all 3 file or just "1. linux-2.2.16-ow1.diff"?
This is where my doubt lies.
Thanks in Advance

I did that succesfully.
Try to unpack the archive. From the archive take linux-2.2.16-ow1.diff
and apply patch -p0
Hi has anyone got a small example of applying the openwall patch to kernel 2.2.16. SuSE 6.4 eg. do you apply the diff files individually.
Thanks in advance
