See my mail with the subject "Spam catcher on this list? - Please get rid of it!" - It appears to be that there is some mail address subscribet to this list which automatically subscribes your mail to some spam distribution mechanism. I have put that domain in my reject list but I am afraid it will propably not be of much use Best regards Hubba -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands, e-mail: suse-security-help@suse.com Security-related bug reports go to security@suse.de, not here

Exactly, and you have to expect this with any mailing list these days. Easy solution: change your From: email address to go to the whop-whops. Make sure you pick one which bounces. See mine. This also deals with people who think they know better than you and cc you on list postings although you requested otherwise. Unfortunately, this only works with lists served by ezmlm (all SuSE ones), all other list managers (mailman, majordomo, ...) are too damn politically correct. Volker -- Volker Kuhlmann is possibly list0570 with the domain in header http://volker.dnsalias.net/ Please do not CC list postings to me.

It's maillist@promotionfactory.net that is spamming. Just try to send an e-mail to that adress, and you'll see ;-)

Nope, but putting the IP 66.193.15.252 (promotionfactory.net) in a tarpit
at least give me some childish satisfaction :
