Can i update the imap II to SuSE 7.1 ? NO. Most likely this will break some stuff and you won't get support anymore!

For the kernel update the one for SuSE Linux 7.0 should be ok. Although I didn't tested this yet.

Well, the SuSE eMail Server II is based on a special version of SuSE 7.0. And between 7.0 to 7.1 a lot of stuff has changed (think of run levels, location of init scripts and so on). If you need additional technical support, please contact solutions@suse.com. Thank you. best regards, Rainer Link -- Rainer Link | SuSE - The Linux Experts link@suse.de | Developer of A Mail Virus Scanner (amavis.org) www.suse.de | Founder OpenAntiVirus Project (www.openantivirus.org)
Cheers Linux freaks I have a general question about TLD and ccTLD ( top level domains ), I am sorry for this post but I found no other resource to ask ! We have a two DNS Servers ( ns1.intersoft-networks.ch and ns2.intersoft-networks.ch ). Till now we only registered ".ch" domains. That was working fine. Some days ago I unsuccessfully tried to register a ".net" domain. The output always shows me an Error. My question now; is it possible that a TLD can't point to a ccTLD Nameserver ? So would it work if I register a TLD and configure it as master server ? thx in advance ! patric illi
