Doublecheck "IP_FORWARD" in /etc/sysconfig/sysctl

this is in /etc/rc.config on a 7.3 box (or in a file in /etc/rc.config.d/) Masquerading should be activated on the linux box and I strongly recommend setting up a DNS server on that machine (for caching DNS requests). Then put the DNS server of your provider into the forwarders {} section in /etc/named.conf Check if the SuSEfirewall2 script is executed in /etc/ppp/ip-up (AFAIK SuSEfirewall2 wasnt mentioned there, there was only a line about FW1)

What about the Win9X PCs?? Is there something that I have to do there?? you need to set up a default gateway (IP of your server) and a DNS server (either your server if you run a nameserver or the nameserver of your provider).
